Local police inspire students with real-world career advice in schools
Police officers from Germersheim visited two local schools on Wednesday to discuss career opportunities in law enforcement. The sessions aimed to inform students about pathways into policing. Many pupils showed strong interest in the career advice talks.
During the visits, officers explained the different routes into policing. They covered degree programmes, entry requirements and the realities of daily police work. Students engaged actively, asking questions about training and responsibilities.
The sessions provided students with direct insights into policing as a profession. Interested candidates can now seek further guidance from local recruitment teams. The initiative helped clarify career options for young people in the area.
