Long-Serving Politician Manfred Zeismann Passes Away
Manfred Zeismann, a long-serving and highly regarded politician in Krenglbach, has passed away. The SPO Upper Austria has praised his commitment to the people, while Landeshauptmann Thomas Stelzer has highlighted his significant impact on the municipality.
Zeismann, a member of the SPO since 1987, served in various roles within the party. He was local treasurer, deputy local chairman, and a member of the district party board. His dedication to the community was evident in his actions as mayor. He was praised for taking responsibility, belonging, and building bridges. Stelzer described him as a mayor with 'handshake quality' who engaged for his community.
Following Zeismann's sudden death, SPO vice-mayor Andreas Wögertter will temporarily take over the municipal affairs. Wögertter had previously served as Zeismann's deputy mayor for three months. The handover will continue until the new election in the municipal council.
Manfred Zeismann's warmth, belief in the good in people, and his significant shaping of Krenglbach over many years will be greatly missed. The SPO state party chairman Martin Winkler and Landeshauptmann Thomas Stelzer have both paid tribute to his legacy. The municipal affairs will now be temporarily led by Andreas Wögertter until the next election.
