Lörrach Explores Ukraine War and Poland’s Political Future in Autumn Lectures
Lörrach, Germany is hosting two lectures this autumn, focusing on the Ukraine war and Poland's political landscape. The events, part of the 8th Lörrach Eastern Europe Days, will be held at DHBW Lörrach and moderated by Hans Niefenthaler of Lörrach International.
Kicking off on November 25, 2025, Prof. Dr. F. Benjamin Schenk will delve into 'Why Should the Ukraine War Concern Us?' at 6:00 PM in the Georg H. Endress Auditorium. The lecture will explore Germany’s role in the conflict and the sustainability of support for Ukraine.
The second lecture, on December 3, will feature Dr. Martin Faber discussing 'Where Is Poland Headed? A New President and the Consequences'. Faber will analyze the domestic and foreign policy implications of the election of PiS candidate Karol Nawrocki. Both events are organized by the Eastern Europe Working Group of Lörrach International e.V. in cooperation with Studium Generale at DHBW Lörrach.
