Lörrach’s bus stops get accessibility upgrades for all passengers
Lörrach has completed upgrades at two key bus stops this year as part of its ongoing accessibility improvements. The Basler Straße/Stetten Grenze and Haagen Dazs Zentrum stops now feature better facilities for passengers. Further renovations are already planned for 2026.
The Haagen Dazs Zentrum stop has received a full modernisation, including a new bus bay along Hauinger Straße. This allows barrier-free boarding, making it easier for passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers. A raised curb and tactile contrast strips have also been added to assist visually impaired travellers.
The completed works at Basler Straße and Haagen Dazs Zentrum mark the latest step in Lörrach’s accessibility push. Future upgrades will continue to focus on safety and ease of use for all passengers. The city remains committed to modernising its public transport infrastructure year by year.
