Los Angeles County Debunks Voting Envelope Conspiracy
Los Angeles County, home to the largest voting population in California, has clarified misinformation surrounding its ballot design for the 2021 election. The conspiracy theory suggesting voter preference can be discerned through holes in return envelopes has been debunked.
The 'yes' and 'no' circles for voting are positioned less than an inch from the ballot fold, making it impossible to see voting choices through the envelope's holes. These holes are approximately two inches from the bottom and four inches from the top of the envelope.
Despite being California's most populous voting area, Los Angeles County has not provided specific details on its role in ballot design for the November 2021 election.
Los Angeles County voters can cast their ballots confidentially, as the conspiracy theory regarding envelope holes is unfounded. The county's significant voting population ensures a substantial impact on California's election results.
