Ludwigsburg and Montbéliard Celebrate 75 Years of Unity with Historic Concert

The 75th anniversary of the Ludwigsburg-Montbéliard Twin Cities Partnership concluded on December 6, 2025, with a grand joint concert, celebrating the decades of friendship between the two cities. The event brought together musicians and officials for an evening of unity, with two prestigious prizes awarded to recognize outstanding contributions to community and reconciliation.

The celebrations kicked off with a concert at the Oßweil multipurpose hall, where the Ludwigsburg-Oßweil Music Association and Montbéliard’s Harmonie Municipale performed together for the first time. Nearly 150 musicians took the stage, delivering a powerful finale of French melodies, marking a high point in the partnership's cultural exchange.

The 75th anniversary celebrations ended with a renewed sense of connection between Ludwigsburg and Montbéliard. The joint concert and prize awards reinforced the cities' commitment to cultural exchange and social progress. Organisers confirmed that the event will be remembered as a milestone in their long-standing partnership.
