Husband in Custody: Investigators Probe Fatal Stab Wounds - Ludwigshafen Woman, 37, Stabbed to Death After Years of Reported Domestic Abuse
A 37-year-old woman was found dead in her Ludwigshafen home on November 2, 2025. Police confirmed she had suffered multiple stab wounds, and her husband has since been detained on suspicion of manslaughter. The victim had previously reported domestic abuse in 2023, raising concerns about earlier warning signs.
The woman was discovered in her living room after sustaining fatal injuries. An autopsy on November 4, 2025, revealed she died from blood loss caused by repeated stab and cut wounds. Her 39-year-old husband, a Turkish national, was arrested shortly after the incident.
The case is ongoing as police gather further evidence. The suspect remains in custody while investigators piece together the events leading to the killing. The children will stay under youth services’ supervision until a long-term solution is determined.
