Luksic Remains Chairman of the Saar FDP
The FDP Saarland has re-elected its leadership team at a recent party conference. Oliver Luksic secured another term as state chairman with strong support. Several other key positions were also confirmed or filled.
Oliver Luksic remained at the helm of the FDP Saarland after winning 79% of the vote. His re-election as state chairman reflects continued backing from party members.
Helmut Isringhaus and Angelika Hießerich-Peter kept their roles as deputy state chairmen. They were joined by Helge Lorenz, who was newly elected to the same position. Marcel Mucker also retained his post as general secretary. The conference also focused on the upcoming European elections. Hanno Thewes was officially nominated as the party’s lead candidate for the vote.
The FDP Saarland now has a confirmed leadership team for the next term. Oliver Luksic’s high approval rate suggests strong internal unity. Hanno Thewes will represent the party in the European elections as its top candidate.
