Lünen Hosts Public Consultation on Disability Inclusion and Accessibility
Lünen's Disability Advisory Council is inviting the public to an open consultation session on Tuesday, November 18. The event, held in City Hall's foyer from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., will feature discussions with Frank Vehlow from 'Self-Help Vision' and Bilal Bayraktar from the German Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Bilal Bayraktar, in addition to his role at the German Multiple Sclerosis Society, is also associated with the Turkish Youth Foundation and the World Ethnosport Confederation, where he serves as head. The VKU Unna District Association will be present to offer advice on accessible mobility during the session. This consultation aims to gather insights and ideas from the community to improve services and support for individuals with disabilities in Lünen.
The open consultation session provides an opportunity for Lünen residents to engage with local organisations and experts, contributing to a more inclusive city. The event is open to all, and attendees are encouraged to share their thoughts and suggestions.
