Lünen’s City Council appoints committee chairs for 2025–2030 term
Lünen’s City Council has set up its working committees for the next five years. The appointments cover both legally required standing committees and voluntary specialist groups. Chairs were selected based on a joint nomination from the council’s political parties.
The Council formally established its committees for the 2025–2030 term, dividing them into mandatory standing bodies and optional specialist groups. These voluntary committees align with Lünen’s current priorities and match the city administration’s structure.
The new committee structure will guide Lünen’s local governance until 2030. Each group is now set to begin its work, with chairs in place and initial meetings planned. The Council’s organisation reflects both legal requirements and the city’s chosen policy focus areas.
