Lünen's Official Gazette unveils new traffic rules and library fee updates
The City of Lünen has released a new edition of its Official Gazette. Issue No. 14/2026 was published on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, featuring several administrative announcements. Among them are new traffic regulations for specific streets in Altlünen and Lünen. The latest Official Gazette includes four general administrative orders under Section 6(1) of the North Rhine-Westphalia Roads and Paths Act. These orders cover traffic areas on Oststraße (a cul-de-sac in Altlünen, plot 2184), Am Christinentor (plots 1750 and 1752), and Alter Kirchweg (multiple plots across parcel maps 15 and 16).
The gazette also contains the public announcement of the updated Usage and Fee Regulations for Lünen City Library. Residents can access the full document either in person or online. Printed copies are available for free at the information desk in the City Hall foyer, located at Willy-Brandt-Platz 1. A digital version is also accessible via the city's official website.
The new traffic orders apply to designated plots in Altlünen and Lünen. The gazette's publication ensures residents can review the changes and library fee updates. Both the physical and online versions remain available without charge.
