The Magadan Regional Duma has recently held a session to prepare for the governor's annual report on 2025 performance. During the meeting, lawmakers also reviewed candidates for a newly formed Mining Council, an advisory body under the Legislative Assembly. The session covered multiple agenda points, including local honours and public petitions.

At the gathering, representatives from political factions submitted questions for the governor. These were based on concerns raised by voters in the region. The Duma Council also examined applications from 18 individuals interested in joining the Mining Council.

The session additionally considered petitions for awarding the Magadan Regional Duma's honorary badge, *For Contributions to the Development of Legislation and Parliamentarism*. This recognition highlights achievements in regional lawmaking and governance. The governor's annual report, which will assess the Kolyma government's work in 2025, is scheduled for the April session of the Duma. Official updates on the Mining Council's final selection are expected to follow.

The Duma's preparations included reviewing public concerns, evaluating advisory body candidates, and planning for the governor's upcoming report. Further details on the Mining Council's formation and the April session's outcomes will likely be released through official regional channels.
