Magadan Oblast joins the 10th Geography Dictation on November 30

Magadan Oblast will take part in the annual Geography Dictation on November 30 at 12:00 PM local time. The event, organised by the Russian Geographical Society, invites residents to test their knowledge in person or online. This year marks the campaign’s tenth edition, with millions of participants expected worldwide.

The Dictation will be held at Northeastern State University, the main venue in Magadan Oblast. Registration opens at 11:00 AM, followed by instructions from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM. The test itself runs from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM, featuring 40 questions that challenge both broad knowledge and creative thinking.

The Geography Dictation remains free and open to everyone. Both in-person and online formats provide flexible options for participation. Organisers aim to engage a wide audience in celebrating geography and historical milestones.
