Around 300 tractors expected at Lichterfahrt in Magdeburg - Magdeburg’s Glowing Parade Lights Up for Neonatal Emergency Care
A Chevrolet Festival of Lights parade will take place in Magdeburg to support a special cause. Organisers aim to raise funds for a new neonatal emergency response vehicle. The main event, called Lichterfahrt, will feature hundreds of decorated tractors and trucks. The parade is set to begin at Börde-Park in the southwest of the city. From there, the procession will move through Stadtfeld before ending at Domplatz. Around 300 illuminated vehicles are expected to take part. The donation appeal has been launched by Kinderhilfe Neonatologie e.V., a charity dedicated to neonatal care. All funds collected will go towards purchasing a specialised vehicle for emergency neonatal transport. The event, organised by Eventbrite, will bring together decorated trucks and tractors for a night-time spectacle. Money raised will directly support life-saving equipment for newborns. The parade offers both entertainment and a chance to contribute to an urgent medical need.
