Man, 23, Arrested After Assaulting Police at Warschauer Straße Station
A 23-year-old man was arrested and later released after assaulting police officers at Friedrichshain's Warschauer Straße U-Bahn station. The incident took place around 11:30 p.m. and involved significant resistance from the suspect. The man shoved an officer on the station's stairs and reacted aggressively when confronted by police from Precinct 51. Police detained him, but he put up considerable resistance. His fingerprints and identification details were recorded. A judge ordered a blood sample to be taken while he was in custody. The case has now been transferred to a specialized unit at Police Directorate 5 (City) for further investigation. The 23-year-old man, whose identity has not been disclosed, was later released. Incident No. 2365 is currently under investigation by a specialized unit at Police Directorate 5.
