Man, 30, Arrested After Alleged Headbutt Attempt on Subway Inspector

A 30-year-old man was arrested following an altercation on a subway at Alexanderplatz station in Mitte. The incident involved ticket inspectors and a passenger without a valid ticket, with the suspect allegedly attempting to headbutt a 20-year-old inspector.

The altercation began when the man refused to provide personal details upon request. He became aggressive and attempted to leave the scene, but was restrained by the ticket inspectors until police arrived. The suspect claimed that the inspector had insulted him, which led to the alleged headbutt attempt. No injuries were reported as a result of the altercation. The man was then taken to a police precinct to confirm his identity and later transferred to a detention facility for processing. He was handed over to a specialized investigative unit for further inquiry. A search for information about the suspect arrested at the Jannowitzbrücke subway station proved unsuccessful.
