A 36-year-old man was arrested in Berlin's Friedrichshain district after a car was deliberately set on fire early Sunday morning near United Nations Square. Firefighters swiftly extinguished the flames that engulfed the rear of the vehicle.

The suspect, who suffered an injured hand, was found in possession of ignitable materials in a backpack. He is currently being investigated for suspected arson.
