Man Charged in Connection to 2024 Homicide of Chantelle Moore
A man from Port Moody, Trenton Henneberg, 31, has been arrested and charged in connection to the homicide of Chantelle Moore, 30. Moore was reported missing in November 2024, and her body was later found in suspicious circumstances, leading the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) to take over the case. Henneberg was arrested on Oct. 31, 2024, and remains in custody since then. He has been charged with one count of second-degree murder and one count of indignity to human remains. Moore was last seen at a hotel in Langley in late October 2024, before she was reported missing to the Surrey RCMP on Nov. 18, 2024. Her parents have chosen not to be publicly identified at this time. The investigation into Moore's homicide is ongoing, with IHIT continuing to gather evidence and pursue leads. Henneberg's next court appearance is scheduled for later this month. Anyone with information related to the case is urged to contact IHIT.
