Man critically injured in Berlin knife attack near Tempelhof intersection
A 30-year-old man was seriously injured in a suspected knife attack in Berlin’s Tempelhof district last night. The incident took place near the intersection of Tempelhofer Damm and Ringbahnstraße around 6:15 p.m., leaving the victim with severe injuries.
According to reports, the man was stabbed in the arm by another individual for reasons that remain unclear. Emergency responders arrived quickly and treated him at the scene for heavy bleeding. He was then rushed to a nearby general hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery.
The case has now been transferred to a specialised unit within Police Directorate 4 (South) for further investigation. As of now, no suspect has been publicly named in connection with the attack.
The victim remains in hospital for ongoing treatment. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing. No further details about the suspect or motive have been released.
