A 57-year-old man is under police investigation after allegedly threatening and insulting local officials during a council meeting. The incident took place in Sulzdorf an der Lederhecke, a small town in the Rhön-Grabfeld district of Lower Franconia, on Tuesday evening. Authorities were called in after the man reportedly became aggressive when his personal application was rejected. The altercation began during a routine council session. The man, whose name has not been released, grew angry after officials ruled against his personal request. In response, he directed verbal threats and insults at the mayor and several council members. The case remains under investigation by local authorities. The restraining order will stay in place while proceedings continue.
