A 52-year-old man was arrested in Magdeburg after firing multiple shots from a blank-firing pistol on his balcony. The incident took place on Wednesday evening, around 21:45, but no injuries were reported by police. The man, whose name has not been released, allegedly discharged the weapon from his balcony in the city centre. Officers later searched his apartment and another property linked to him. During the search, they found two blank-firing pistols, including the one used in the incident. The suspect remains in custody while investigations continue. Police are examining the recovered weapons and reviewing witness statements. The case will proceed based on the findings of the ongoing inquiry.
