Manfred Dillian wins Rieden/Zellerberg mayoral race in a landslide victory
Rieden/Zellerberg has elected a new mayor after a decisive vote. Manfred Dillian secured the position with 75.8 percent of the ballots. The election also brought in a fresh municipal council for the community.
The mayoral race saw a clear winner as Manfred Dillian took office with strong support. His landslide victory came after Inge Weiß, the outgoing mayor, chose not to run again. Weiß had served two terms before stepping aside.
A new municipal council was also formed during the elections. Twelve members now hold seats: Sabine Hartung, Sabine Hopfinger, Johannes Schmid, Ralf Daiser, Gerhard Nägele, Guido Schröder, Bernd Kaulfuß, Ulrich Trippo, Michael Henkel, Tobias Trippo, Wendelin Hefele, and Matthias Schmidl. Their roles will shape local decisions in the coming years.
Dillian's overwhelming mandate marks a shift in leadership for Rieden/Zellerberg. The newly elected council will work alongside him as the community moves forward. No details on the council's past political makeup were available for comparison.
