36-Year-Old Severely Injured in Home Invasion - Masked attackers leave man critically injured in brutal Ulm home invasion

A violent home invasion in Ulm left a 36-year-old man with serious injuries early on Monday. Three masked assailants broke into an apartment on Staufenring, threatening multiple people inside before attacking the victim with blunt objects. The suspects fled the scene and remain at large.

The incident occurred around 00:30 on March 9, 2026, when the three armed men forced their way into the apartment. They immediately threatened the occupants, leading to a physical confrontation. During the struggle, the attackers repeatedly struck the 36-year-old man, causing severe injuries.

Other people in the apartment suffered minor harm, though the exact number of additional victims has not been confirmed. The injured man was rushed to the general hospital for treatment, while the assailants escaped before police arrived.

Officers secured evidence at the crime scene and launched a search for the suspects. So far, investigators have not determined a motive for the attack.

The victim remains in the hospital, and police continue their investigation into the break-in. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the masked attackers to come forward. The case is ongoing, with no arrests made as of yet.
