Masked burglars disguise as workers to rob Berlin pawnshop in broad daylight
A pawnshop in Berlin’s Westend district was targeted by burglars on December 4, 2025. Three masked individuals, disguised as construction workers, entered the premises during opening hours. Authorities are now investigating the incident and searching for witnesses who may have seen the suspects flee the scene.
The break-in occurred around 5:30 PM, when the pawnshop was still open. The suspects, wearing masks and posing as workers, forced their way inside. Staff only discovered the burglary later and immediately contacted the police.
No injuries were reported during the incident. The thieves accessed the shop’s safe and pawned valuables before escaping in the direction of Lindenallee. Authorities have not yet confirmed what was taken.
The case is now under investigation by a specialized unit of the Berlin State Criminal Police Office. Detectives are asking anyone with information—such as descriptions of the suspects, suspicious behaviour, or relevant photos or videos—to come forward. Tips can be submitted through the Berlin Police’s online reporting platform or directly to the investigating unit.
Police continue to gather evidence and review potential leads. The investigation remains active, with authorities focusing on identifying the suspects and recovering stolen items. Witnesses or anyone with information are urged to contact the State Criminal Police Office as soon as possible.
