Masked Gunman Robs Betting Shop in Schöneberg
A masked man robbed a betting shop in Schöneberg today, threatening violence and brandishing what appeared to be a firearm. The incident, recorded as No. 0596, occurred around 11:20 a.m. on Martin-Luther-Straße. The employee was unharmed.
The suspect entered the shop and demanded the cash register's contents. He then fled with the cash, leaving the employee shaken but unhurt. Police Directorate 4 (South) is leading the investigation into this aggravated robbery with extortion. The suspect's direction of escape remains unknown.
The robbery is being treated seriously by authorities. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police. The employee's safety was fortunately not compromised during the incident.
