Masked Knife-Wielding Robbers Strike Berlin Gas Station Overnight
A gas station in Berlin’s Friedrichsfelde district was robbed by two masked men late last night. The incident took place at around 11 p.m. on Alt-Friedrichsfelde Street, leaving the employee unharmed but shaken. Police have launched an investigation under the robbery squad of Police Directorate 3 (East).
The two unknown assailants entered the station wearing masks. One of them reportedly pulled out a knife and demanded money from the 41-year-old employee behind the counter. The armed suspect then took cash from the register and grabbed several packs of cigarettes.
Meanwhile, the second man snatched sweets from the checkout area. Both suspects fled the scene on foot toward Gensinger Straße. Police arrived quickly but were unable to track them down after an extensive search. The robbery squad of Police Directorate 3 (East) has since taken charge of the case.
No arrests have been made so far, and the suspects remain at large. The employee, though unharmed, was left distressed by the ordeal. Authorities continue to investigate the incident and are likely reviewing any available surveillance footage.
