Robbery of Cash Transporter - Suspect Vehicle Found? - Masked robbers fail to steal from cash van in Berlin heist attempt
A cash-in-transit van was targeted in a failed robbery in Berlin’s Charlottenburg district on December 12, 2025. Two masked assailants attempted the heist outside an electronics store on Krumme Straße before fleeing the scene in a car. Police have since launched an investigation into the incident.
The attack unfolded when the two masked men approached the cash delivery outside the store. Their attempt was unsuccessful, prompting them to escape in a vehicle. Shortly after, a burning car was discovered on Forckenbeckstraße, believed to be the getaway vehicle used in the robbery.
Police investigations later revealed that the suspected car had originated from Pankow. Homicide detectives have since taken over the case, classifying it as attempted aggravated robbery.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to identify those responsible. The burning vehicle found on Forckenbeckstraße is being examined for further evidence. Police have not yet released additional details about potential suspects or motives.
