Maykopsky Cultural Center Set for Renovation by 2026
The cultural center in Maykopsky District, built in 1959, is set for renovation. The regional ministry of culture has been tasked with the project management, with a completion date of 2026. However, the contractor has not been specified yet.
The renovation comes after Nadezhda Masyura, a local resident, raised concerns about the center's poor condition. The project, funded under the regional program 'Development of Culture', will allocate 2.5 billion rubles in 2024 for the repair and strengthening of 185 cultural institutions. This follows a similar allocation of over 2.2 billion rubles in 2025 for 184 institutions. The planned renovations include fixing the facade and roof, updating interior rooms, and repairing engineering systems. Cultural centers like this one serve as vital gathering places, preserving history and developing culture within communities.
The renovation of the cultural center in Maykopsky District is expected to be completed by 2026. Despite the contractor not being specified yet, the project is part of a larger regional initiative to repair and strengthen cultural institutions. Upon completion, the center will continue to serve its community, preserving its history and fostering cultural development.
