Mayor Honors Langenfeld’s Food Bank Volunteers Ahead of the Holidays

Mayor Gerold Wenzens has kept up a festive tradition by visiting Langenfeld’s food bank to share a holiday message. The annual stop at Tafel Langenfeld Die Tüte included thanks to local supermarkets for their support. This year’s visit also highlighted the hard work of volunteers behind the initiative.

On a visit to the SkF store at 70 Solinger Straße, Wenzens met with the team running the food bank. He praised their efforts as a vital part of the city’s social support network. The mayor took time to thank each volunteer personally for their dedication.

The visit reinforced the city’s partnership with local businesses and volunteers. Wenzens’ thanks to the supermarkets and SkF team underscored their role in supporting Langenfeld’s community. The food bank will continue its work through the holidays with the help of these contributions.
