Memorial Unveiled in Kokuy Honoring Fallen Soldiers

A memorial to fallen soldiers was unveiled in Kokuy, Sretensky District, with a ceremony attended by local authorities, veterans, and relatives of the deceased. The event was marked by solemn tributes and celebrations.

The ceremony began with the reading of the fallen soldiers' names, followed by a minute of silence and the laying of wreaths and flowers. The event concluded on a festive note with a concert featuring patriotic songs and local artists. The Zabaykalsky Krai government's Telegram channel reported on the 911 memorial's opening.

Those who contributed to the creation of the memorial were recognised with honorary certificates. Sergei Skvortsov, the acting head of the Sretensky District, emphasised that the memorial stands as a symbol of collective memory and gratitude towards the fallen mil and army of the Motherland.
