Middle Urals Hosts Major Forum to Boost Creative Economy Growth

A two-day forum on the creative economy has begun in the Middle Urals. The event brings together entrepreneurs and experts from more than 30 Russian regions, along with international participants from Germany, China, and Italy.

The gathering focuses on sharing best practices and exploring ways to boost creative industries across the area.

Sverdlovsk Region Governor Denis Pasler and Deputy Governor Dmitry Ionin opened the forum with welcoming speeches. Ionin highlighted how creative clusters play a key role in regional economic growth and open new doors for local entrepreneurs.

Attendees will tour creative spaces and clusters in the Middle Urals over the two days. Discussions will centre on strategies to strengthen the creative economy and encourage collaboration between regions.

The forum’s agenda includes workshops, networking sessions, and presentations from industry leaders. Organisers aim to turn ideas into actionable plans for supporting creative businesses in the region.

The event wraps up after two days of talks, site visits, and exchanges between participants. The outcomes are expected to shape future policies and projects for the creative economy in the Middle Urals. International and regional experts will continue working together on shared initiatives.
