Migration Raid in Nizhny Novgorod Nets 6 Offenses, 3 Deportations
A recent migration raid in Nizhny Novgorod's Kanavinsky district has resulted in 6 administrative offense protocols for rule violations. A total of 130 foreign nationals were checked during the operation. Among those inspected, three foreigners were fined and ordered for deportation. Additionally, 12 natives of CIS republics were taken to the migration department for further processing. Three cases are being considered for employers' administrative liability for hiring violations. The rest of the foreign nationals were fined but not ordered for deportation. The police raid in the Kanavinsky district highlights the ongoing efforts to regulate immigration in the region. The specific nationalities of those involved have not been officially released, but common origins for foreign nationals in Russia include Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
