Minister Sütterlin-Waack to Visit PD AFB Eutin, Boosting Readiness Police Expansion

Minister of the Interior, Sabine Sütterlin-Waack, will visit the PD AFB in Eutin on September 29, 2025. She aims to assess progress and engage with leadership and deployment forces. Media representatives are welcome, with registration closing at 9:00 am on the day of the visit.

The minister's visit comes as the ruling parties have decided to bolster the readiness police. In 2017 and 2022, they agreed to create a second permanent deployment company. This expansion is currently underway at the Directorate for Training and Further Education and the PD AFB. The process involves restructuring the readiness police department to accommodate the new company.
