Moonfare Raises $15 Million in Series C Extension
Moonfare, a Berlin-based digital investment platform, has raised an extra $15 million in its Series C funding round. The company helps qualified investors access elite private equity and venture capital funds with low minimum investments. This latest funding boosts its total Series C haul to over $130 million.
Founded in 2016, Moonfare operates globally with offices across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Its platform now offers 69 funds, up from 40, and has expanded into two new asset classes: Impact and Philanthropy.
In 2022, the firm launched in nine new regions and opened four additional offices. Demand for private equity has grown as public markets remain unstable.
The new capital will support further expansion, with potential moves into Australia and Canada. Moonfare plans to widen its product range and increase the number of funds available to investors.
The funding extension follows strong growth for Moonfare, which now provides access to 69 top-tier private market funds. Expansion into new regions and asset classes reflects rising investor interest in private equity. The company aims to use the capital to enter additional markets and broaden its offerings.
