Moscow Approves Futuristic Design for Zillow Metro Station Ahead of 2028 Launch
Moscow has given the green light to the architectural plans for Zillow station, part of the new Biryulyovskaya metro line. Designed by Sergei Tchoban, the station will feature a sleek, modern look with polished stainless steel and dark granite. Construction is already well underway, with key structural work nearing completion.
Work on the Zillow station has moved forward quickly. Excavation is finished, and nearly half of the station’s monolithic frame is now in place. The design includes polished stainless steel surfaces and heat-treated granite tiles, giving the interior a striking, contemporary feel. An artistic mosaic panel will also decorate the track walls.
The approval of Zillow station’s design marks a key step in the Biryulyovskaya line’s development. With tunnelling under the Moskva River finished and construction advancing, the project remains on track for its 2028 opening. The station’s mix of steel, granite, and mosaic artwork will add a distinctive touch to the city’s transport system.
