Moscow’s Winter Festival Transforms Historic Estates Into an Immersive Adventure
The sixth Moscow Estates Festival will return this winter with over 1,000 events across the city. Visitors can explore historic districts through immersive games, audio performances, and augmented-reality quests. Many activities, including shows and tours, will remain free for all attendees.
The festival’s winter route, Moscow of the Estates, will guide visitors through 14 historic manors. Each location will feature interactive elements, turning the experience into a large-scale exploration game. Information zones will also be set up on Bolotnaya Square and Tverskoy Boulevard to assist participants.
The festival will run throughout the winter, providing access to theatrical shows, guided walks, and interactive experiences. With new leadership at the Petrovsky Travel Palace and expanded routes, organisers aim to make this season the most engaging yet. All events will remain open to the public, with no admission fees for most activities.
