Mother tries to run across closed railroad crossing with daughter - Mother risks her child’s life by ignoring closed railroad crossing warnings
A 41-year-old mother in Bad Aibling, Upper Bavaria, put herself and her young daughter in danger on Tuesday morning. Despite a closed railroad crossing and police warnings, she attempted to cross the tracks while holding her child's hand. Federal police had shut the crossing because of a broken barrier. Trains were still running, making the area unsafe. Officers were directing traffic away from the danger zone when the woman approached. The woman now faces legal consequences for her actions. Child protective services will assess the child's safety following the event. Police have reminded the public to obey crossing signals at all times.
