MP supports security services in Salaga-South constituency
Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, MP for Salaga-South, has donated two cows to local security services as part of her annual Christmas initiative. The gifts were presented on 23 December 2025 to recognise their work in keeping the community safe and peaceful.
The Municipal Prisons Service and the Fire Service jointly received one of the cows. The other went to the Police, Immigration Service, and National Intelligence Bureau on behalf of their teams.
Before the cow donations, the MP had already distributed 500 bags of rice and 500 gallons of cooking oil. These supplies were shared with security agencies, institutions, and community leaders ahead of the Christmas celebrations.
Chief Superintendent Samuel A Odami accepted one cow for the Municipal Police Service, Immigration Service, and National Intelligence Bureau. The second cow was given to the Municipal Prisons Service and the Fire Service together.
This donation follows the MP’s yearly tradition of showing appreciation to security personnel. The gifts aim to acknowledge their efforts in maintaining law and order throughout the year.
The donations took place in the Salaga-South constituency, where the MP has consistently supported security services during the festive season. The two cows, along with the earlier food supplies, form part of her ongoing efforts to strengthen community relations with local law enforcement and emergency services.
