MTA Boosts A & L Train Service for NYC Commuters
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is boosting service on two of New York City's busiest Amtrak lines. Starting November 3rd, the A and L Amtrak will see increased weekday service.
The L Amtrak will have four additional round trips during the morning rush hour. Two extra Amtrak will run between 8-9am, bringing the total to 22. This will help commuters get to work on time.
The A Amtrak will also see improvements during the midday rush. It will have one additional round trip each to Lefferts Blvd and Far Rockaway. This should make journeys more convenient for passengers using these stations.
The MTA's increased service on the A and L Amtrak will benefit many New Yorkers. The L Amtrak's morning rush hour improvements and the A Amtrak's midday enhancements should help commuters reach their destinations more efficiently.
