Münster Honors 23 Volunteers with Prestigious City Pin for 2025
Twenty-three dedicated volunteers in Münster have received the city’s highest recognition for their service. The Münster Pin 2025 was awarded on International Volunteer Day in a ceremony at the Rathausfestsaal. Lord Mayor Tilman Fuchs presented the honours to individuals making a difference in their communities.
The Münster Pin has been given each year since 1993 to those who give their time selflessly. This year’s recipients work across a wide range of fields, from church activities to heritage preservation. Others support repair cafés, environmental projects, food distribution, and local neighbourhood groups.
The ceremony marked the contributions of individuals who strengthen Münster through their voluntary work. Their efforts span community support, cultural preservation, and social welfare. The Münster Pin continues to highlight the impact of those who give their time for the benefit of others.
