Münster Hosts ‘Quantum 100’ Grand Finale with Science and Music Fusion
Münster is set to host 'Quantum 100', the grand finale of the 'Year of Quantum', on November 15 at Halle Münsterland. The event, patronised by the German Physical Society (DPG), promises an exhibition, lectures, and a captivating concert titled 'Fundamental Interactions'.
DPG, with over 52,000 members, is one of the world's largest physical societies. It recently sent a delegation to Münster, led by Mayor Tilman Fuchs. The mayor welcomed the scientists, underscoring the city's commitment to international dialogue and understanding. During their visit, the presidents of DPG and the Physical Society of Japan (JPS) signed a joint 'Declaration for the Future'. This declaration cautions against the perils of nuclear weapons and promotes the peaceful application of scientific discoveries.
The 'Quantum 100' event, patronised by DPG, is expected to showcase the latest advancements in quantum physics. The declaration signed by DPG and JPS presidents serves as a reminder of the responsibility scientists hold in shaping a peaceful future.
