Münster's Wolbecker Straße Traffic Lights Relocation Begins November 6
Münster's Department of Public Order and Transport has announced plans to relocate temporary traffic lights on Wolbecker Straße, near the Mühlhäuser Straße junction. The construction project is set to continue until August 2027, with construction commencing on Thursday, November 6.
The project, led by the City of Münster, will focus on the canal shaft along Wolbecker Straße, between the junctions with Mühlhäuser Straße and Laerer Landweg. During construction, traffic will be maintained in both directions, using one lane each. Residents of the Mühlhäuser Straße area will still have access to their homes.
Drivers are advised to be cautious, as potential congestion is expected in the outbound direction. The 'Mühlhäuser Straße' bus stop will be temporarily relocated to accommodate the work. Despite no official detour route being designated, motorists are encouraged to avoid the construction zone where possible.
