Myasnikov Overpass Repair in Nizhny Novgorod Progresses
The capital repair of the Myasnikov overpass in Nizhny Novgorod is underway, part of the national project 'Infrastructure for Life'. The second stage is currently in progress, with a variety of works planned.
The repair includes several key elements. Eight beams have been replaced during this stage, with the process taking just one night instead of the planned two. The roadway structure is also being installed with expansion joints. Additionally, the railing is being replaced for improved safety. The project aims to restore the slope reinforcement and includes waterproofing, drainage, and lighting in the upcoming phases. The work is primarily being done at night to minimise traffic disruption.
Andrey Loginov, the chief engineer of the contracting company, oversees the project. The next phase is scheduled to begin on October 19, 2025.
