Nazi memorabilia and weapons seized in German dealer's warehouse raid

Police have uncovered a cache of Nazi memorabilia and weapons at a military collectibles dealer’s warehouse in Markt Indersdorf The search revealed items including a can labelled 'Zyklon B', concentration camp prisoner uniforms, and Nazi insignia. These were not on public display, prompting scrutiny over potential violations of weapons laws by both the dealer and the landlord.

Authorities are now checking whether the firearms found were legally deactivated. If they were not, the dealer could face charges under weapons laws and the War Weapons Control Act. The investigation began after Brandenburg police and prosecutors in Potsdam launched inquiries into the dealer’s activities. The focus remains on whether the items complied with strict deactivation rules.

The case will determine if the dealer broke weapons regulations or the War Weapons Control Act. Further legal steps depend on whether the firearms were properly deactivated. Authorities continue to assess the situation.
