Netto Supermarket in Fümelse Approved Despite Aldi Competition
Plans for a Netto supermarket in Fümelse, Wolfenbüttel district, have been in the works for over three years. The project, led by Ratisbona Projektentwicklung KG, has received approval from local authorities, but construction has not yet begun.
The Netto store is set to open despite ongoing discussions and preparations. The investor, Ratisbona Projektentwicklung KG, does not anticipate any oversupply issues, even with an Aldi store planned just four kilometers away in Adersheim. The Aldi store's opening is scheduled for next year, and Ratisbona Projektentwicklung KG maintains that it will not affect the Netto project in Fümelse. Spatial planning authorities have reviewed and approved the supermarket expansions based on regional supply conditions.
The Netto supermarket in Fümelse remains on track, with local authorities clearing the way for construction. The investor, Ratisbona Projektentwicklung KG, is confident in the project's viability, despite the upcoming Aldi store in nearby Adersheim.
