Neu-Isenburg's Municipal Utilities Donate €2,000 to Local Food Bank
Neu-Isenburg's municipal utilities have donated 2,000 euros to the local food bank, supporting those in need. The donation was presented by Kirk Reineke, CEO of the municipal utilities, and Stefan Schmitt, First Councillor and Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
The funds were raised by employees at the Open-Doors festival through a wheel of fortune and surplus wine stand sales. The municipal utilities rounded up the collected amount to make it a significant 2,000 euros. The food bank, based at St. Josef church, provides assistance every Friday. Kirk Reineke praised the employees' efforts in achieving this donation. Stefan Schmitt highlighted the importance of the food bank's work for social cohesion in Neu-Isenburg.
