Neuwied honours decades of dedication in city administration ceremony
Neuwied’s city administration recently gathered to honour employees for their decades of service. The main event, held at the STADTGALERIE Mennonitenkirche, celebrated those reaching 25, 40, or 50 years with the city, as well as three long-serving staff members retiring this year. Mayor Jan Einig and colleagues expressed their thanks for the dedication shown over many years.
The ceremony recognised three groups of employees for their loyalty and hard work. Sonja Jensen, Nathalie Zeus, and Petra Marks were each honoured for 25 years of service. Britta Breithausen, Michael Mertes, and Ewald Lenz received awards for 40 years with the city administration.
The celebration highlighted the long-standing relationships between the city and its employees. Those recognised will continue to be remembered for their years of public service. The event closed with appreciation for their efforts and best wishes for the future.
