New book celebrates 65 years of Vietnam-Cuba friendship and solidarity
A new book, '65 Years of Fostering the Exemplary and Loyal Friendship between Vietnam and Cuba', was launched on Wednesday. The publication offers a rich reflection of historical milestones in the relationship between the two nations. The book, available in Vietnamese and Spanish, is divided into three parts: 'Founders of Relations', 'Solidarity between Nations', and 'Historic Visits by Leaders'. It features valuable documents and photographs showcasing visits and exchanges between Vietnamese and Cuban leaders. The debut event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr Vụ Trọng Lâm, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Sự Thật National Political Publishing House, and Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, Ambassador of Cuba to Vietnam. Both speakers emphasized the significance of the traditional solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations. The book is an outstanding contribution to preserving the historical memory and spirit of the special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cuba. It was jointly compiled and published by the Sự Thật National Political Publishing House and the Embassy of Cuba in Vietnam.
