New Book Chronicles Vietnam's 40 Years of Visionary Innovators and Changemakers
A new book titled 40 Years of Innovators has just been released, celebrating the people who shaped Vietnam's progress over the past four decades. Published by Alpha Books, it highlights 25 key figures from the country's Doi Moi reforms to its modern high-tech ambitions. The authors spent 18 months researching and interviewing business leaders, innovators, and changemakers to bring these stories together.
The book is divided into five sections, each covering a distinct era from the late 1980s to Vietnam's post-Covid future. Among the 25 individuals featured, three originally came from the overseas Vietnamese community before returning to contribute to the country's growth. The selected figures represent five groups that have played crucial roles in Vietnam's transformation.
Co-authored by Sam Van, founder of SRO Partners, and American writer Sam Korsmoe, the project draws on over 70 interviews. A dedicated website, *VietnamInnovators.com*, has also launched for early book orders. A formal launch is set for April, with events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Further promotional activities will take place across Vietnam throughout the year.
The book offers a detailed look at Vietnam's economic and social evolution through the eyes of its most influential figures. Readers can explore the stories behind the country's development, from early reforms to its current technological push. Early copies are now available for order online.
