Foreigners often see blame for war not just with Russia - New Study Reveals Deep Trust Gaps Among Germans with Migration Backgrounds
The study found that 9% of Germans with a migration background and 10% of foreign nationals believe 'Jews cannot be trusted'. Among those with Turkish heritage, distrust rose sharply—from 18% in 2015 to 26% today. Similarly, 18% of late resettlers expressed the same sentiment.
The findings show persistent divides in trust, social acceptance, and political views among Germany’s diverse population. While most respondents feel positively about living in the country, certain prejudices and differing opinions on global conflicts remain.
